The power of quiet storytelling
Chapter One
Moon
When the moon descends past the third watch,
pear blossoms drift across a silent court.
A raven stirs upon the eaves —
who taps so gently at the jade-green door?
Chapter Two
Mist
Far peaks fold into returning clouds,
each wisp dissolving into ink.
In a sleeve of pale blue silk
I stand where evening bells unwind.
Chapter Three
Bloom
Ten miles of peach blossom drift on the air,
a curtain of dreams surrendered to wind.
I do not ask of homecoming —
only the place where spring runs deepest.
Chapter Four
Snow
A thousand mountains, dusk and snow,
one straw-cloaked boat upon the cold.
The world is hushed in white —
yet plum hearts hold a secret fragrance still.
Chapter Five · Finale
Return
We are all travelers in this world,
a single voyage of cloud and stream.
Look back — the mountains
have turned to crimson gold.
End of Reverie
✦ ✦ ✦
What remains, after the mist lifts and the petals fall — is the path itself.
